Financial Mail deputy editor Sikonathi Mantshantsha says Brian Molefe's return to Eskom is patently illegal and will not end well for the CEO.

He points out that the ANC has already slammed Molefe's reappointment and equated Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown justification to perjury.

Mantshantsha argues that the cloud over Molefe's head has darkened since his return.
Molefe returned to work on Monday last week, to what Mantshantsha says was a staged 'warm welcome'.
