Agriculture Minister Senzeni Zokwana says opposition parties should put politics aside when dealing with transformation in the agricultural sector.

Some political parties even blame the government for natural disasters, as if the government has deliberately caused the disaster, says Zokwana.
He says the ANC understands very well the role of commercial agriculture which is to produce food.

Zokwana spoke about the drought problem in the Western Cape saying as a sector they need to put aside which party runs the province so that agriculture can still function without problems.
