Something's Cooking By J'Something

Born in Algarve in Portugal, Joao Da Fonseca now known as J’Something is a musician and now restaurant owner.

J'Something took his cooking as a hobby to new heights when he landed his own cooking show titled Something’s Cooking on Mzansi Magic.

Through his restaurant, J’Something brings his passion for food to life in a fun but intimate dining space. Called Something’s Cooking by J’Something, the restaurant offers fresh twists to traditional dishes in a space which celebrates the life and times of J’Something’s upbringing.

Every on the menu is extremely personal

J'Something and his head chef, Ramouns Gouws have created every recipe to imbue a special personal story from his life.

Gouws says the restaurant feels like home away from home with its personal memorabilia and relaxed atmosphere.
