Unidentified woman's body found on Table Mountain

A body was discovered on Table Mountain on Tuesday morning around 10am.

Kevin Brandt, EWN reporter says details about who the woman is are still unclear.

He says police are still working on identifying her.

No connection has been made to Charlotte Nikoi who went missing on Table Mountain two months ago, says Brandt.

However, Brandt has confirmed that the body was found close to the location where Nikoi is said to have disappeared on Platteklip Gorge.

It is difficult to make any sort of connection at this stage as we have to wait for the postmortem examination to be conducted and for the officials to give us a statement around that.
