Breakfast Show Host Xolani Gwala has warned that government needs to review its unsuccessful approach to land restitution thus far.
This comes after President Jacob Zuma reported that the majority of land claimants and beneficiaries opt for money instead of land.
The presenter says the very people who choose to take financial compensation will still be dispossessed many years down the line.
He says land reform support needs to be well coordinated by government for those claimants who opt for land.

It's not just about money. It's about talking to the neighbouring farms and former land owners to come up with a coordinated approach that will assist the new owners.— Xolani Gwala, 702 Breakfast Show host
According to Gwala, the land reform story will be one of the most important narratives our time.
