MD of EE Publishers, Chris Yelland says he thinks an out of court settlement will be reached for Brian Molefe.
This follows a decision by the ANC NEC on Monday that Molefe should be removed from his role at Eskom.
An interministerial committee has been tasked to look into this matter.
On Wednesday, Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown instructed the Eskom board to rescind the re-appointment of Brian Molefe as chief executive of Eskom.
On the other hand, chairman of Eskom board Dr Ben Ngubane told Parliament that there is a risk of load-shedding because the utility is battling to get coal supply contracts approved.
Ngubane was addressing the National Council of Provinces select committee on communications and public enterprises on Wednesday.
However, Yelland says what Ngubane is saying seems to be in complete contrast to all the messaging that's been put out by Eskom.
They said no load shedding this winter and that Eskom is in fine shape and that there's coal stock pile so this comes as a real surprise and gives an impression that this is a veiled threat.— Chris Yelland, Managing Editor at EE Publishers
I don't think what is happening at the moment is good for the organisation.— Chris Yelland, Managing Editor at EE Publishers
