Brian Molefe's future after Eskom up in the air

At the request of inter-ministerial committee appointed to look into the Brian Molefe's re-appointment at Eskom, Lynne Brown, Public Enterprises Minister told the Eskom board to rescind the re-appointment of Molefe as chief executive of the power utility.

Lindsay Dentlinger, EWN reporter says the board cited a host of irregularities and lack of proper processing at the utility for their decision.

And in the interest of good governance they could not allow this contract to continue.

Dentlinger says at another parliamentary meeting, Brown said that Molefe was a very good manager and was key in putting the power utility in the position it is in today.

Most of the journalists wanted to know what the future of the Eskom board and Brian Molefe is.
