Twin brothers unite in fighting the stigma of HIV Aids

When Thula Ntokozo discovered that he was HIV Positive, his world changed. He realised the daily struggles that people living with HIV faced.

Instead of focusing on the negatives, he decided to launch a campaign that would educate, inspire and promote a healthy vision of HIV in South Africa.

Thula and Ntokozo joined Xolani Zwala where they were awarded the Lead SA hero of the month award, for their courageous and inspirational work:

"We started ac campaign about 6 years ago...we document stories about people who have - for a lack of a better word - successfully lived with HIV for along time, to fight all of the negativity, and to prove that you can actually live a normal, happy, healthy life with HIV."

Thula Mkhize, co-founder of Good Stories

"Once you are exposed to the possibilities that exist, you can actually now take that step forward, and live."

Thula Mkhize, co-founder of Good Stories

"I went on a journey looking for people that have lived with HIV for a a long time, and the more I found them, the more I started believing that I could be like them."

Thula Mkhize, co-founder of Good Stories

"We're replacing the image with us...and there are many of us."
