World View: Putin says patriotic Russians may be engaged in hacking

Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again denied his government had any hand in the US election campaign.

He says however "patriotic" Russian citizens might be engaged in hacking and that these individuals might be justified in their "fight against those speaking ill of Russia,".

Adam Gilchrest has more.

He said that actually there is no institutionalised hacking that the Russian government has not in any way been involved in hacking into say the US presidential election.
