Black female-owned K9 Pet Food strikes gold with Woolworths partnership
Woolworths – along with the Department of Trade & Industry and the Industrial Development Corporation - has just opened a new 3600m2 pet food factory in the Western Cape.
The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed K9 Pet Food Managing Director and part-owner (70%) Fazielah Allie.
Allie - who has been in the pet food industry for 20 years - bought the struggling business in 2014.
She approached Woolworths to secure a partnership.
The rest, as they say, is history.
