Bafana's win against Nigeria a pleasant shock - football analyst

Football analyst Christoph Bongo says Bafana-Bafana's win against Nigeria was unexpected.

Bafana was victorious against Nigeria, a 2-0 win in Saturday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.

Bongo predicted a draw on Friday.

We all had a pleasurable shock which is good.

Christoph Bongo, Football analyst

It is an achievement because whatever South Africa has managed to achieve, the Nigerians believe because we have not beaten them yet, it is not acceptable.

Christoph Bongo, Football analyst

That was a big show that we did not just beating them 2-0 but beating them at home.

Christoph Bongo, Football analyst

As it stands, Bongo says there is hope that Bafana-Bafana will qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
