London police have launched an investigation after one person was killed and ten others injured when a man is believed to have deliberately driven a van into people coming out of a mosque in Finsbury Park on Monday.
The Muslim Council of Britain has called for extra security around mosques, describing this as "the most violent manifestation" of Islamophobia.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said police had confirmed it was being treated as a potential terrorist attack.
Eyewitness News correspondent Alex Eliseev has more on the story.
We don't know what the motive is. We know that the suspect is a 48 year old man who hired a white van, drove up to outside the mosque and then drove into a crowd that was busy assisting an elderly man who was experiencing health problems.— Alex Eliseev, EWN reporter
