No reason to panic over cards expiry date - Sassa
Sassa beneficiaries are worried about their Sassa cards which will expire in December 2017.
According to reports it could take up to two years to replace all the cards and grant beneficiaries would need to be re-registered.
National spokesperson at South African Social Security Agency (Sassa), Kgomoko Diseko says they have started on a process of ensuring that people get new cards.

The banks don't tell you six months before when your bank card is about to expire they tell you a month before.

There is no need for beneficiaries to panic, they will be informed as to when they should come and collect their new cards.
