Murder accused Sandile Mantsoe claims Karabo Mokoena took her own life

Murder accused Sandile Mantsoe claims Karabo Mokoena committed suicide.

The married father is accused of killing Mokoena and burying her body in a shallow grave in Lyndhurst earlier this year.

Mantsoe painted himself as the victim, telling the Johannesburg Magistrates Court that she was jealous and abused him, reports EWN's Hitekani Magwedze.

Mantsoe's affidavit was read in court on Friday and it refutes the version of events given by the investigating officer in this case.

It paints him as a a victim and says when he was arrested, he was intimated by a female officer.
