Colleen Duister and her family are beginning to pick up the pieces following a traumatic ordeal caused by the forensic pathologists strike at Gauteng mortuaries last week.
The Ekurhuleni mother had to postpone her daughter's funeral twice because officials had not released her three-year-old child's remains as promised.
Duister spoke to Radio 702 on Wednesday last week and the Germiston mortuary released her daughter's remains the next day.
The family held a funeral service last week Friday.
She has thanked to the community and listeners for their support during this difficult time.
