The spies at Saxonwold

In this week's installment of the #GuptaLeak series, Economic Freedom Fighters say information obtained on its leader, Julius Malema, by the Gupta family, was obtained when Malusi Gigaba was Home Affairs Minister.

This past weekend, media houses, News24, amaBhungane and Scorpio reported that the Gupta family were surveilling Malema, Trevor Manuel and his wife Maria Ramos amongst others.

Pieter-Louis Myburgh, an Investigative reporter at News24 says as the weeks progress more interesting tidbits are surfacing.

Myburgh says an excel spreadsheet containing neatly summarised travel details and dates of a selected individuals he describes are associated with 'white monopoly capital' were revealed in damning leaked Gupta emails.

What is concerning is what the intention is for monitoring somebody's movements.

Myburgh explains that the information obtained by the Gupta family is of a sensitive nature and could only be captured by a government entity such as home affairs.
