Public clash in Parliament between two ANC MPs over SAA saga

The Chair of the standing committee on Public Finance, Yunus Carrim had a public clash with another ANC MP Peace Mabe in Parliament.

According to EWN reporter, Gaye Davis, the clash was about the ongoing issues at SAA.

She says the chair of the SAA board Dudu Myeni was the only one who appeared before Parliament and other MPs strongly objected to her being allowed to speak. They argued there were no other board members to object or give their side of the story.

Peace Mabe, on the other hand, objected saying Dudu Myeni is the captain of SAA, therefore, she should be allowed to speak.

One of the MPs said that Peace Mabe, a relatively new member of the committee, and she hasn't been to many of these meetings, something that Carrim agreed with...

At that moment Peace Mabe completely lost it, very emotional and on the verge of tears - wagging her finger at Carrim, accusing them of disrespecting her and undermining her in front of the committee...
