Are South African entrepreneurs born or made?

Business coach Robin Wheeler describes an entrepreneur as someone who is in touch with something deep within them and wants to bring that something into being.

Often these people are willing to risk everything to have that something come alive, he says.

So are South African entrepreneurs born or made?

Wheeler believes we are all born with that but it depends on how we embark on unfolding it.

What you need is an entrepreneurial spirit, not the knowledge.

Robin Wheeler, Business coach

It's a mixture of what we love and what we are called to do, as well as what irks us - which is aligned with what the world needs, looking at the markets and seeing what the business opportunities are... we've all got that within us.

Robin Wheeler, Business coach

According to Wheeler, entrepreneurship is all about digging deep and having a vision that may seem impractical but sticking to it in order to change the world.
