Nathi Mthethwa agrees that WMC needs to be dislodged from the economy

Monday marks the fourth day of the African National Congress National Policy Conference (ANC NPC).

Gia Nicolaides, EWN reporter was at the conference.

Minister of Arts and Culture and ANC NEC member, Nathi Mthethwa. addressed the media on strategy and tactics document, saying it has needed to change since 2012.

Mthethwa also said political freedom has been achieved by the ANC. He went on to say that the party now has to focus on radical economic and social transformation, reports Nicolaides.

He said that means that the theme of this strategy is organisational integrity and organisational renewal.

Nicolaides goes on to say that the matter of corruption has been addressed while the issue of leadership is being engaged with.

Mthethwa said the party didn't entertain 'current affairs' when asked about the Gupta family adds Nicolaides, and he agrees that white monopoly capital (WMC) needs to be dislodged from the economy.
