The court has ordered BLF to pay all legal costs.

Sanef chair Mahlatse Gallens says the BLF have been given 12 hours to renounce violence on their website and social media accounts.

Gallens has welcomed the ruling and says that threats against journalists must stop.

According to Gallens, aggrieved groups are able to protest outside media houses and not individual homes of journalist.

She has condemned the increasingly hostile environment towards South African journalists.

It is important that journalist are able to do their work freely, without fear or intimidation.
