Parts of Joburg will be in the dark between 22:00 and 06:00

The City of Power has announced that it will be carrying out planned electricity outages in some parts of the city of Johannesburg.

According to its Facebook page the emergency power outage is scheduled to begin from Monday, 10th of July 22:00 to 06:00 on Tuesday morning.

City Power says the planned electricity interruptions are necessary to do to essential maintenance work on their network to provide better services.
