A high-end digital camera manufacturer RED, over in the US, has plans to release a multi-view holographic smartphone display.
In a blog post on the RED website, Jim Jannard, founder of the California-based company, explained that it is “multi-view (4-view) as compared to stereo 3D (2-view).

Vermeulen says it is too soon to purchase this gadget, adding that for now, it is just hype. The phone is priced at 1000 US dollars. He says we should expect the phone to officially be launched in the first few months of 2018.
