Home Affairs Minister, Hlengiwe Mkhize has shared plans to have her department operate under the country's security cluster.
In an attempt to curb fraud, bribery and corruption, Mkhize has highlighted challenges faced with out of date technology and records captured on defunct systems manned by a handful of technicians, and almost no professionals.
She spoke to Xolani Gwala about the improvements that need to be made.

Its to look at the use of technology in accessing and processing applications so we are more efficient, but also going back to accuracy and security aspects...
