Lemok Digital Agency is a township-based digital marketing agency that focuses on helping SMMEs grow their businesses using a combination of online marketing tactics.

Lemok focuses on content marketing, email marketing, animation and explainer videos, Google Adwords, social media marketing , website and landing page development.

Mokubela says being based in Soshanguve allows Lemok to keep costs low, invest in the township economy and also focus on the quality of their work.

Lemok currently employs four permanent staff and has two interns, and is planning to expand.

Mokubela says he studied accounting after matric because of pressure from his family, he then changed course to study business management, but later dropped out to pursue his own venture.

Mokubela was born and bred in Soshanguve, a township north of Pretoria and raised by grandparents.

He says he learnt responsibility and independence from a young age and started his first business, an events company, in 2009 at the young age of 19.

But the business collapsed in 2011 and he worked for a creative marketing agency where he was promoted to director in the space of just one year.

Through it all, Mokubela says he always knew he wanted to be his own boss and started Lemok in 2015.
