Bell Pottinger founder Lord Bell claims he warned against ‘smelly’ Gupta account

The cofounder of infamous UK PR firm Bell Pottinger, Lord Timothy Bell, apparently warned the agency’s CEO, James Henderson, to not work with Gupta-owned Oakbay.

He referred to the account as “smelly”.

Lord Bell left the agency last year following health issues, but he reportedly claims the Oakbay account also played a role.

He rubbished the statement put out by Bell Pottinger which claims management had been misled about the work done for Oakbay.

Henderson denies that Bell warned him.
