Pick n Pay to repack and distribute groceries for #MandelaDayFoodDrive

Mandela Day kicks off on Tuesday with thousands of volunteers expected to dedicate 67 minutes to a worthy cause.

Pick n Pay has partnered with FoodForward SA to provide 600 beneficiary organisations with food.

Grocery items have been donated by customers across the country, through the Mandela Food Drive initiative.

Suzanne Ackerman-Berman is the Director of Transformation at Pick n Pay.

She says the donations will be packaged for distribution at various centres on Mandela Day.

I know in Johannesburg it is at Gallagher estate so people can go there anytime of the day, allocate their 67 minutes and they will be given a job to do.
