Tuesday will see almost 100 civic groups from around the country convene the Conference for the Future of South Africa that aims to unite and mobilise the country against state capture.
The conference coincides with Nelson Mandela Day and celebrations taking place from July 18, the birthday of struggle stalwart.
Convenor, Mandla Nkomfe says the conference seeks to collaborate on ways to effectively tackle state capture and corruption.

Nkomfe explains that the aim of the conference is to create more coordinated action using a common platform.
Members of Parliament have been invited to attend the conference as observers.
