I don't think that Bhengu has the credentials or experience - IFP MP

Pearl Bhengu was this week appointed interim CEO of the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) after the sudden departure of Thokozani Magwaza from the organisation.

Bhengu has been tipped by the Social Development Department to stabilise Sassa.

The Inkatha Freedom Party's (IFP) Liezl van der Merwe says it is troubling that minister Bathabile Dlamini would elect one of her allies and 'best friends' to take over the reigns at Sassa.

I don't think that Bhengu has the credentials or experience.

It's another dark week for Sassa and clearly Dlamini is hell bent on driving this department and Sassa back into a crisis.
