Eskom existed to allow Gupta's access to largesse in state - Karima Brown
In a week of big admissions from the power utility, Eskom admitted that it enabled and assisted Tegeta - the Gupta-linked company - to acquire Optimum mine. Eskom also claimed that suspended consultancy firm McKinsey paid over R500 million to Trillion, also part of Gupta state capture allegations.

Anoj Singh, Eskom CFO... it defies belief how he's still in his position and it's astounding that he's faced no action. The Eskom board has a lot to explain. Eskom essentially existed to allow Gupta's access to largesse in the state.
