I went to medical school and I had this dream of working for the UN and helping out children ... that's how I got into the health sector.— Dr Sivuyile Madikana, medical doctor and health advocate
Madikana was exposed to the health environment at a very young age. His mother was a nurse and his dad also worked at the hospital.
He says he spent time in that environment and with time developed the love for it.
Madikana will travel to New York in September to complete his Masters degree in public health.
