Libya rivals agree to a ceasefire after 6 years
Rivals Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) and the Government of National Accord (GNA) have agreed to a ceasefire. Journalist Adam Gilchrist says the two sides have been in conflict for roughly six years.
The LPA and GNA have announced a 10 point joint statement on peace and reconciliation. According to Gilchrist the statement is not a done deal, but it looks promising.
