Britain will ban new petrol and diesel cars from 2040

In an anti-pollution move, Britain is to ban all new petrol and diesel cars and vans from 2040 amid fears that rising levels of nitrogen oxide pose a major risk to public health.

Alexander Parker, a journalist at 24.com says the initiative wants to ban cars that run solely on internal combustion. He adds that the industry or infrastructure could cope with a complete ban on all internal combustion.
