Plans to ban diesel cars in the UK is a knee jerk reaction- FairFuelUK

In an anti-pollution move, Britain is to ban all new petrol and diesel cars and vans from 2040 amid fears that rising levels of nitrogen oxide pose a major risk to public health.

Howard Cox, founder of Fair Fuel UK says the 2040 date set is a knee jerk reaction by government. Cox says all drivers in the United Kingdom (UK) want clean air.

But what will happen is the electric vehicles will be available before then.

There was no need for this target, what needs to be done is to introduce alternative solutions which doesn't involve banning vehicles. adds Cox.

Cox says an alternative solution, like the one introduced in Texas, in the United States, which entails compulsory additives placed which improves the efficiency of burning fuel and has reduced emissions by sixty percent.

He goes on to say that toxic taxes are a mess in the UK.
