Pensioners brave cold to queue for a spot in Kruger for 2018!

Harm, 80, and Magda Timmerman, 74, braved a cold night outside Sanparks offices in Pretoria on Monday to be the first to book a stand in one of the popular caravan camps for next year!

This would be a third year in a row that the couple from Pretoria will get a chance to visit the Kruger National Park.

The couples son, Phillip Timmerman, says this is an opportunity not to be missed by his parents who worked for the South African Bureau of Standards all their lives.

He says the camping site is affordable for them giving them a chance to do it annually.

Cape Town has the mountain and we have the Kruger National Park. We go there every year, it's a fun filled holiday for the whole family and we looking forward to it. Unfortunately you must have a booking to get in and that's not always possible.
