Business in Africa: Women in business

August marks women's month and this week's Business in Africa focuses on women making serious moves in business.

Refilwe Moloto, Founder and Principal Advisor, Ambassador Advisory leadership roles are increasingly being occupied by women-in corporate and political sectors.

In investments, much research has been done on the benefits of not just diversity but increased woman representation on boards as well as being investment decision makers - it impacts the bottom line of a company or investment vehicle positively.

Refilwe Moloto, Founder and Principal Advisor, Ambassador Advisory

The economic power of women in Africa is intensified, almost to multiples of women in ROW - impacted by family structures (rural and urban), migrant labour, the dynamics of investment, and small business ownership is dominated by women on the continent.
