Four Members of Parliament were involved in an accident while travelling for oversight work at various schools in Paarl.
The accident claimed the life of ANC MP Timothy Khoza while the other three MPs sustained injuries after the shuttle they were travelling in collided with a taxi.
Western Cape Provincial traffic chief, Kenny Africa says the shuttle was making a U-turn when the taxi collided with it.
According to Africa, the pictures of the accident shows that the shuttle made a U-turn on a "solid double barrier line" which is deemed illegal.
The police are busy with the investigations. Lets give the police an opportunity to do their work before we go into what went wrong.
