Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says there has been progress in the management of the parties major metro's which, he says, were besieged by corruption and cadre deployment.
Thursday 3 August marks exactly a year since the opposition party took over key metro municipalities in Tshwane, Johannesburg and Nelson Mandela Bay from the African National Congress (ANC).
Maimane says his party still has a lot to do to clean up the metros.
