Holomisa: ANC out order for threatening MPs over no confidence vote

The UDM believes that if the motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma is voted in secret, at least 70 members of the ANC caucus would vote against Zuma.

UDM leader Bantu Holomisa says the predictions are based on the party's own analysis and intelligence data.

Holomisa has urged members of Parliament (MPs), particularly from the ANC, to listen to the public outrage.

He says the ANC is out of line for intimidating its MPs into voting in Zuma's favour.

The ANC is out of order by threatening members of Parliament and telling them there will be repercussion.

Holomisa says the ruling party is known to be masters of political violence and comments made about the vote may leave MPs feeling threatened.

He says leaders like ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu are treating the process frivolously and do not have South Africa's best interest at heart.
