WC athlete, Luvo Manyonga, among the best in the world

South African athlete Luvo Manyonga made the country proud when he claimed the global title at the IAAF World Championships with a leap of 8.48m in the first round.

EWN sports reporter, Jean Smythe, says Manyonga's achievement shows that the golden era that we have entered into as South Africans is truly alive.

Manyonga, who beat recreational drug addiction earned a silver medal in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.
