ANC stalwart Cheryl Carolus has lambasted members of the ruling party for their sense of entitlement and their misplaced preoccupation with power.

Carolus says it is frightening to see the levels of tolerance towards the ANC's degeneration.

This comes after allegations of assault involving deputy Higher Education Minister Mduduzi Manana.
