Dr Tumi fulfils his dream and fills up the Dome

Gospel sensation Dr Tumi has fulfilled his goal of filling the 20 000-seater TicketPro Dome on Sunday night.

He became the first gospel singer, and the second African artist after rapper Cassper Nyovest in 2015, to fill the Dome for his Gathering of Worshippers concert.

Gospel artist, Dr Tumi, told Afternoon Drive host, Bongani Bingwa that he had set his sights on his dream of filling up the Dome about four months ago. He adds that he was left humbled by the support he received from fans and peers in the music industry.

It was an amazing atmosphere. The whole Dome was filled with worship.

Dr Tumi adds that musicians need to challenge themselves like attempting to fill up such big venues to capacity. He says he wants to inspire fellow musicians to follow and pursue their dreams.
