The World View: Four suspects of the Barcelona attacks questioned by police

Journalist and broadcaster, Adam Gilchrist tells host Stephen Grootes that four surviving suspects of the Barcelona attacks have been brought in for questioning by the police. Gilchrist adds that one of them has been released on bail while two of them face 'pretty serious charges'.

In other news, the Notting Hill Carnival is an annual event that has taken place in London since 1966 on the streets of Notting Hill, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, each August over two days.

Police are conducting a huge operation before it opens this week. Gilchrist says this is because the event has become a magnet for gun, knives and drug crimes. The police carried out a series of raids, targeting twenty-nine homes across London and have made twenty-six arrests, he reports.

We've also learned in the run up to the carnival the police have two hundred and ninety arrests and recovered two hundred guns and knives.
