HM Media helps ad campaigns make the right impression

Entrepreneur Simnikiwe Nxele is the founder and Managing Director of HM Media, a media buying and advertising agency.

HM Media offers a complete advertising experience to clients, ranging from conceptualization, design and layout, media buying and placements through appropriate media channels.

Nxele explains that the media buying agency is involved in the distribution of advertising campaigns on various platforms.

We take campaigns into the different media channels.... We place adverts in the newspaper, radio or TV.

HM Media formulates the strategy around the distribution of advertising campaigns, including when and how where they will be seen.

Nxele, who has 10 years experience in the media buying industry, says the market is about relationship building, having financial resources, communications expertise and media credibility.

Her business partner Tim Mohulatsi says it is important to have industry knowledge, in order create value to their clients.

The pair discussed their business, the challenges and advantages of working in the media buying, and gave advice to others who want to break into the industry.
