NDZ will be next ANC president, says North West Premier

North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo says that the governing party must allow a woman to be the next president to prove its commitment to non-sexism.

Mahumapelo spoke during a Cadre’s Forum in Klerksdorp on Thursday, where Presidential hopeful Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma was the main speaker.

Mahumapelo spent time dancing and singing for Dlamini-Zuma before he took to the podium speaking about her track-record, reports Clement Manyathela.

He was really just making it clear that as the North West Province, their unequivocal about their support for Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.

Supra believes that this is the time to prove that ANC is indeed a non-sexist movement.

The North West Premier predicted that the party's regional conference over the weekend will resolve that a woman - Dlamini-Zuma - must be the next president of the ANC.
