Political Desk: Nelson Mandela Bay coalition crumbles

Nelson Mandela Bay's United Democratic Movement (UDM) Deputy Mayor Mongameli Bobani has been removed in a vote of no confidence.

Brown said the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) released a statement on Thursday, accusing the DA of what it called 'white supremacy'.

She says the UDM also commented on the matter, saying the DA did not consult at national level as required.

There is a deadline of 28 August to have this matter resolved, Brown explains .
