Parliamentarians have finalised their list of 12 recommended candidates to serve on the SABC board.
Parliament’s portfolio committee on communications short-listed candidates and conducted interviews last week.
The committee will now submit the report to the National Assembly for adoption before it is sent to President Jacob Zuma, reports EWN's Rahima Essop.

The new board is expected to oversee the affairs of the public broadcaster once the five-member interim board’s term ends later this month.
Four of the candidates on the new recommended board served on the interim board, Essop explains.
EFF MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi expressed disappointment that there are only for women recommended to the board.
