Listener Lana Barnett says she has opened a case at the Rondebosch police station after a blue light brigade car knocked into her last Thursday night on the M3.
She says the police called her to ask about the costs involved and she hasn't heard anything from anyone since.
At that stage, I said I don't know as I am waiting for the assessor... But when I look at the car, I can see it's going to be quite a lot, maybe that's why they are taking time.— Lana, caller
I'm not to sure whether I just wait or do I do a follow up...— Lana, caller
Barnett says she's been getting a lot of criticism for calling the radio station and for putting her name out in the media.
They said to me why are you doing this, why are you putting your name out there. People might come for you...— Lana, Caller
What comes to mind is the age old quote: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing". What happens if they kill somebody next time?— Lana, caller
Barnett says she will be following up on her case with the station commander.
