Residents and businesses in Johannesburg have been affected by last week's cable theft in the CBD, leading to another power outage.
Last week copper thieves gained access to the underground tunnels at the weekend, where they burnt cables.
City Power says it will restore electricity by Tuesday evening.
Johannesburg City spokesperson Sol Masolo explains why there has been a delay.
