SAA needs R2.4 billion in working capital to see it through until March 2018

EWN parliamentary correspondent, Gaye Davis says it has been confirmed that an undisclosed amount is being readied to be handed over to South African Airways (SAA).

She says according to Director General of the National Treasury, Dondo Mogajane, they are planning to bring a special appropriation bill, with an amount close to R10 billion to help SAA meet a debt that matures at the end of September 2017.

We also learned SAA needs R2.4 billion in working capital to see it through until the end of March 2018.
