On Thursday, the Presidency announced that President Jacob Zuma will convene a Southern African Development Community (SADC) double troika summit in Pretoria on Friday following the recent political tensions in Lesotho.
The country's defence force chief lieutenant-general Khoantle Motsomotso was assassinated last week by a former army officer who had recently been fired.
Zuma will be joined by the presidents of Swaziland, Angola, Tanzania, and Namibia.
